In Agua y sal, water, pigmento, salt and alcohol actively participate in the construction of the image. Their different reactions displace, concentrate and separate the color, creating edges, transparencies and unexpected forms.

​I work in dialogue with these processes, intervening in them, provoking encounters and making decisions as the image develops. Matter, gesture and chance intertwine in a process in which the image remains open to transformation and discovery.
