ABOUT

I was born in 1964 in Aschaffenburg, Germany, and I live and work in Gran Canaria. Creativity has been a constant throughout my life, first through music and later through painting, which gradually became the centre of my artistic practice.

My relationship with landscape began in childhood and has shaped the way I observe the world ever since. When I moved to Gran Canaria, this relationship took on a new dimension. Living on an island, surrounded by the ocean and encountering a land of striking contrasts, with vegetation and landscapes very different from those I had known, transformed the way I perceive and experience landscape.

I have developed my work independently, exploring different media and visual languages over time. This ongoing exploration of has led me from acrylic painting to words recents works on paper and continues to open up new possibilities within my practice.
